Vadym LYASHKO: “The word ‘competitiveness’ became just a fetish to us”
The cloud of crisis that looms over the country has a silver lining: the authorities are not ignoring the people anymore and have to heed industrial managers, bankers, and experts. Ukrainian politicians are still unable to reckon with anything other than their personal interests and popularity ratings, so at most councils and consultations they focus on their image instead of looking for effective responses to the challenges that are confronting the national economy. Yet, it is vitally necessary to find a cure for the crisis through an honest diagnosis. This was the subject of the interview with Ukrgazbank Board Chairman Vadym LYASHKO.

To attention of the shareholders of OJSB "UkrGasBank" and other interested persons!
In accordance with decision taken by the extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of OJSB "UkrGasBank" (Minutes No.3 dated 16.10.2008) and conditions under Issue prospectus of OJSB "UkrGasBank", registered by the Securities and Stock Market State Commission, the Supervisory Board of OJSB "UkrGasBank" in the Meeting as of 22.10.2008 (Minutes No. 8), took decision that within the second stage of an open (public) placement of shares of OJSB "UkrGasBank" (from 27.10.2008 to 31.10.2008 included) the shares will be placed among shareholders and other investors at the price UAH 3,00 (three hryvnias 00 cop.) per a share.

According to resolution of the Supervisory board dated 01.10.2008, accepted within power, granted to the Supervisory Board by general meeting of shareholders of the OJSB «Ukrgasbank», that took place on 16.09.2008, the terms of open (public) placement of shares were postponed.
